Our Year Two teacher is Miss Russell
Year Two is a fun packed year with lots of exciting topics! The Advent term bursts into action with a study of 'Towers, Tunnels and Turrets'. We look at the history of castles, tunnels and bridges, make them out of Lego and other suitable materials and draw them in art and computing. The second half of the Advent term, starts off with creating our own instruments for our study of 'Beat, Band Boogie'!
In our computing lessons, we look at www.thinkuknow.co.uk to revise the importance of how to stay safe online. We are also supported in our research on the Internet.
We are now the top of Key Stage One and we are given more responsibility! In the dining room we lay the tables and in our classroom, we all change our own reading books and have our own important role within the class.
For our 'Beat that' challenges in mathematics, we work hard on our number bonds, addition and multiplication by 2, 5 and 10 - under timed conditions!
