What we do
St Teresa’s Parents Association (STPA) consists of a group of parent volunteers who raise money through fun events and initiatives at the school. All parents are automatically members of STPA when their children join St Teresa’s and are therefore welcome to come along to meetings.
Our main objective is to raise funds for items which are considered “the icing on the cake” and which will further enrich the children's education Our aim is also to bring St Teresa’s parents and children together within the lively and welcoming school community.
STPA organise many different fun events throughout the year, but our two key events are the Children’s Christmas Fair and a main Summer Event.
We are a small group who try to spread the load and get everyone involved. If you would like to join us please contact Mrs Wynne or Mrs Sallis (Joint Chairs) or come along to one of the meetings. We set up sub-committees for events so it is not necessary to attend all meetings to get involved. We recognise that many of our parents work and so run meetings on different days of the week and also schedule a number of evening meetings.
If you are a parent who has a very limited amount of time to share then you can get involved by volunteering to be part of STPA Helping Hands team. Involvement can be as much or as little as the time you can spare and all are welcome. We welcome any specialist skills contributed by our diverse and talented parents.
How you can help
If you would like to get involved, either by joining the Committee or becoming a Helping Hand, then please email the School Office who will pass on your message to the Joint Chairs.
